WW1 Equipment Scale Plans

Scale plans of WW1 Equipment is a seemingly rare commodity. This page aims to rectify this situation somewhat. In fact, there are a lot of plans floating around, and the aim here is to give access to such plans in different ways.

Firstly, you will find a table with links that will lead you to a multitude of places: some to Scale Plans, plain and simple, OR to pages (on this site or on the Internet) containing Scale Plans OR just to a page telling you where you can find such plans (usually copyrighted material. Notice that far fram all of these links lead to proper, professional 4-way plans, carefully scaled. But I trust that a simple (even crude) side-plan is better than none at all.

Secondly, you will find two amazingly big compilations of WW1-material, made by Robert Robinson. They don't contain just drawings but covers a lot of other material as well. Check there, and you will see that the Great War is better covered than you can imagine!

Thirdly, here you can find a collection of super plans, all courtesy of Ken Musgrave.

WW1 Equipment Reference Index

These simply amazing compilations of useful WW1 material below comes courtesy of Robert Robinson: first a table on vehicles, then one on weapons, and then finally a table with references to the two above. Within content the abbreviations stand for T = Textual material, I = Illustration, C = Cross section, P = Photograph/ss, D = drawing (D1 one view D 2 two views etc). Notice that the souces are listed separately in a table at the bottom of the page. Also, if you are looking for info on specific vehicles, weapons etc, check this page as well!
