WW1 AFV Paper Models
by Charlie Clelland

There are many materials to use when you build models of WW1 Military Vehicles: Plastic, Resin, White Metal. A less well-known one is the cheapest of them all: paper! and the results can be quite impressive. Charlie Clelland has compiled this very helpful list of WW1 Military Paper Models, if you want to give it a try. Sure looks interesting!

Papermodels have a number of distribution methods:

1. Printed booklet - most often from publishers in Poland - most expensive method - but much cheaper than plastic models.
2. Free download - download the patterns and instructions from a website, print it
on your local printer.
3. Purchased download - similar to (2) except the download is bought from an on-line retailer. These are usually a fraction of the cost of printed models.

There are usually no shop fronts selling paper models in many countries. The usual way of purchasing paper models is from Internet stores. A partial list
of Internet stores is available at http://wiki.zealot.com/index.php/Card_Models.
