FSF:s 120mm Cannon mle 1878-1916 Long

Fine Scale Factory makes the only model of the 120mm Long mle 1878-1916 Cannon that I know of. Click here for a review of their kiyt. The material is White Metal, and the casting is up to FSF:s usual fine standards, although the wheels are marred by some flash. The kit is however, pretty basic - as you can see in the picture - and I think it should be seen as the sound basis for further detailing. The minimum should be adding elevation wheels, chains for the travel lock, dial sight and handle for the De Bange breech. "Wooden Feet" for the wheels is an option. But with some work this can be made into a very nice and exact replica of the original. FSF:s Artillery kits are among the best in the market, quite comparable with SHQ and sometimes even Al.By, and this is no exception, although I had expected some more details. All in all, an OK kit!
